Hi Scott,

That is a really comprehensive chart you linked to – and I am 99% sure that those values are for the upcoming 2008 season. Points have been known to experience change over time, although high levels of devaluation are not really an issue. Just make sure you purchase a timeshare with enough points to support the type of travel you are considering and make sure to buy on the resale market!! Good luck and happy travels.

Hi, I’ve been poking around at timeshare resale, and I’ve found an RCI points-to-weeks chart online that has much higher point values than what’s quoted here. Are the above values from 2007 and the values I found for 2008? Can any long-term RCI Points member let me know if these increases are typical? Thanks! I’d hate to buy into a resort, intending to exchange my points, only to find out that the points are devalued year after year.
