We received the following submission from one of our users regarding their experience with Lago Vista Buena Ventura:

"After years of difficult exchanges, this year the maintenance fees doubled, making continued participation not worthwhile. I guess it's no surprise that my investment is now completely worthless. To add insult to injury, the management is unwilling to accept the usual deed-in-lieu-of-foreclosure, wanting us to pay the $300 real estate fee. I have no interest in paying another penny into this abyss. STAY AWAY!!"

The Colonies at Williamsburg VA – Pressured to Upgrade

"We purchased at timeshare in 2006 had it paid for in full. In 2010 we both lost our jobs. We left the yearly fees go. And felt we lost the timeshare. In 2018 we receive a letter telling us that they will accept half of the fees to bring it up to date. Timeshare Presentation Experience – Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta

"Having a timeshare with RCI, we booked a week at the Mayan Palace Marina in Puerto Vallarta. It was so beautiful and we were so happy with the resort (despite the "dated" reviews it had received) that we agreed to a presentation at their resort in Nuevo Vallarta. What an absolute nightmare!
