Point to Point to Westcoast Timeshare to Crelogix

[ad#readmore]My husband and I joined Point to Point Timeshare in Vancouver BC, which changed to Westcoast Timeshare. We were asked if we owned a home to begin with we said no, but we did have a motor home (jokingly). The guy said good enough and signed us up on that. We were financed by Travelers acceptance which changed to Crelogix when they changed to Westcoast.

Wall Street Journal Feature on Timeshare Troubles

The Wall Street Journal recently (April 2012) aired a video about the difficulty of selling timeshares.

According to the WSJ, an estimated 50% of owners are behind on their payments.

El Cid in Cozumel Timeshare Maintenance

[ad#readmore]We bought this TS in 2003 and have been paying on it regularly except maintenance fees.

In 2009, we received sporadic bills for maintenance fees. I called to get a payoff and was told they were written off. Never could get hold of the timeshare comapny. Did not receive any letter or calls. Never received any bills for 2010.

Called last week because have not received a bill for the payment on the timeshare. Told in foreclosure. Boy did I blow it.
